Esther A. Macks

Esther A. Macks, 89, a longtime resident of Irvine, passed away Friday March, 8th, 2013, at the Rouse Warren County Home, Youngsville, Pa. She born March 27, 1923 to Lloyd and Nellie (Eakin) Fitzgerald in Sergeant, Pa. Esther married Nicholas Macks on February 11, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked as a secretary for the Warren County School District for 30 years and was a member of the St. Lukes Roman Catholic Church, in Youngsville. Esther was also a longtime Volunteer for the Youngsville Public Library and the Girl Scouts. She enjoyed reading, collecting teddy bears and taking care of her cats. Along with her parents and husband, Esther was preceded in death by a son Charles Macks. She is survived by her daughter Sue (Archer) Perrin of Pittsfield and her son John (Barbara) Macks of Erie; grandchildren Nicole (Christopher) Pulcinello of Erie, Christine (Nathan) Woodruff of Triangle, Virginia and two great-granddaughters Abigail and Chloe Pulcinello Friends will be received one hour prior to an 11 a.m. memorial Service that will be held on Monday, March 11th, 2013, at the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 314 North Main St., Youngsville, with the Deacon Bill Sproveri officiating. Burial will be in Irvine Presbyterian Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Friends of the Rouse, 701 Rouse Ave., Youngsville, or to the Youngsville Public Library, Broad St., Youngsville, PA 16371.
