Jill Adaire McAchren, 58, of Athens, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Vanderbuilt Medical Center in Nashville. She was a native of Erie and a former resident of Harborcreek, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Durward and Opal McAchren. She was an employee of the Bradley County School System, where she taught Pre-K at Hopeville Elementary School. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Athens, where she was involved with AWANA and taught ESL at the church. Survivors include four sisters and one brother-in-law, Pam McAchren of Athens, Kahanai Skydance of Arcata, Calif., Karen and Ken Earl of Athens and Judy Tanguary of San Jose, Calif., two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick and Sheila McAchren of Erie, and Bill and Joyce McAchren of Erie, special friends Vera Studer of Erie, and Nina Hudson of Germany and many nieces and nephews.
