Karol Clement

Karol Clement, loving wife and mother, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 after an extended illness. She was born on July 31, 1955 in Kane, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles and Kathryn Bowser. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Andrew Bowser. She is survived by her husband, Jim; two daughters, Natalie and Julianne, both of Erie; her twin sister, Karen Lombardi, and her husband Jerry, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; her brother, Steve Bowser, of Kane, Pa.; a brother-in-law Frank, "Biff" Clement and his wife Suzanne of Greenville S.C., three nephews, Steven Kightlinger, Andy Lombardi, Shawn McGuire, and two nieces, Lisa Tong, and Mary Lee Tobin. She was employed at the Erie County Health Department as an immunization nurse. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she was active in the American Baptist Women's Missionary, American Baptists Girls, and the Board of Christian Education. Karol unselfishly served and glorified our Heavenly Father in everything that she did and now is commended into His Hands. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard. Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 901 West 28th St. with Rev. John R. Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
