Luella M. Fails Bambauer

Luella M. Fails Bambauer, age 68, of Millcreek Twp. passed away Monday December 3, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Erie, March 8, 1944, the daughter of the late Harry N. and Janette Greenfield Fails. Luella graduated from McDowell High School, and went on to work at Reliable Furniture until she left to raise her family. Once her children started school, she went to work for the Millcreek School District Food Service, where she worked at McDowell until her retirement. Luella enjoyed camping. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome L. Bambauer, Jr., and her daughter, Barbara Ann Bambauer. Survivors include a daughter, Constance L. Bambauer and a son, Jerome L. Bambauer III, both of Erie; a brother, Nelson Fails, and his wife Joyce, of Erie; her father in law, Jerome L. Bambauer, Sr. of Erie; her brother in law, Edward Bambauer, of Shrewsbury, Mass.; three nieces, Karen Surkala, and her husband Nick, of Erie, Linda Schneider, and her husband Kurt, of Greensburg, Pa., and Julie Patterson, and her husband, Aaron, of Erie; two nephews, Derek Bambauer, and his wife Jane, of Tucson, Ariz.; and Jeffrey Bambauer, and his wife Melissa, of Shrewsbury, Mass.; also many great nieces and nephews survive. Friends are invited to call at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd. on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until the time of services at 8:30 p.m. with Rev.
