Mary A. Massie Robinson

Mary A. Massie Robinson, of Lawrence Park, passed away Monday December 24, 2012 at UMPC Hamot. She was born in Conneaut, Ohio December 19, 1918, a daughter of the late James and Agnes Chrisman. She graduated from Conneaut High School in 1937 and from St. Vincent Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio and worked at Brown Memorial Hospital in Conneaut for three years. Mary and her first husband Myles Massie moved to Lawrence Park in 1945 and then in 1969, moved to Miami Beach, Florida to manage a Motel Rental until they retired in 1989. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband Myles Massie, a daughter Marlene Massie Stefano, two sons Jack and Jim Massie, and her second husband Dwayne Robinson of Conneaut, Ohio. She is survived by three granddaughters: Tammie Massie Verdi of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Kim Massie Martin of Tamarac, Fla. and Amy Stefano Stanley of Wheeling, W.Va., two grandsons Donald Stefano, Jr and Stephen Stefano, her son-in-law Donald Stefano, Sr. all of Lawrence Park, Pa., a daughter-in-law Barbara Verdi of Hollywood, Fla. Nine great-grandchildren also survive. She was a member of Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Services were private at her request, but a memorial gathering will be held in her honor Friday from 3:00 to 6: 00 p.m. at 1087 Villa Sites in Harbor Creek Township.
