Mike Turner

Mike Turner, age 81, of Erie, died at Millcreek Manor, Saturday, November 3, 2012, after an extended illness. Born in Erie, May 20, 1931, he was a son of the late Frank and Frances (O'Leary) Turner. Mike loved cars and was a salesman for many local dealers over the years. He also enjoyed woodworking and built many things in his lifetime. He was a member of the Zukor and Sunflower Clubs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Turner. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Janet (Conway) Turner, whom he married April 27, 1956; a son, Pat Turner, wife Linda, of Erie; two daughters, Katie Agresti, husband Amedeo and Susan Turner, all of Erie; six grandchildren, Leanne McCollough, husband Brian, Lauryn Turner, Jake Turner, Alex Agresti, Allyson Agresti and Tynan Connolly, all of Erie. Friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 W. 38th St., Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 until the funeral service at 8 p.m., with Deacon Bob Ball officiating.
