Paul Lombardozzi, age 52, of Charlotte, N.C. passed away April 19, 2013 following an extended illness. He was born in Erie, Pa. April 20, 1960, son of Benedict and Laura (DiNicola) Lombardozzi. Paul was a loving and devoted husband and father. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Gloria (Iesue) Lombardozzi, son, Alexander, and daughter, Sophia. He is also survived by his parents Benedict and Laura Lombardozzi, sisters Gina Grimm (Greg) of Bellingham, Wash., and Mariana Skonieczka (Rick) of Erie, Godmother, Aunt Jean DiNicola, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and close friends. Paul graduated from Gannon University with a mechanical engineering degree. He worked for Ingersoll-Rand Company for 25 years, which gave him the opportunity to travel extensively. In addition to travel, Paul also enjoyed scuba diving, boating, fishing, and restoring old cars. A memorial mass will be celebrated in his honor on Friday, May 10th at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1626 West 26th Street, Erie, Pa. at 10 a.m. A luncheon will follow immediately at the Elks Lodge
, 2409 Peninsula Drive, Erie, Pa. A funeral mass was also celebrated in his honor Saturday, April 27th at Saint Anne Catholic Church in Charlotte, N.C.
