Stanley Osinska, age 84, of Erie, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014. He was born in Camden, N.J. on November 1, 1929.
Stanley was a cook at the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Erie from 1993 until his retirement in 2010. He attended the Salvation Army and was a member of Lifeworks Senior Center. Stanley loved watching the Food Channel on T.V., riding his bike, caring for his cat, Chloe, and spoiling his wife. He was loved by everyone who knew him.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Gayle Osinska, and several children, out-of-town.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 1022 Liberty St., conducted by Majors Leslie and Susan Walters. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, PO Box 6176, Erie, PA 16512.
