Mary Lou Weschler

Loving Mother and Grandmother Mary Lou Weschler, age 80, of Fairview, passed away at her home on Thursday January 12, 2012. She was born in Pittsburgh on October 10, 1931 daughter of the late Joseph P. and Anna E. Dornick Straka. She was a graduate of Mt. Assisi in Pittsburgh, Class of 1949. Mary Lou loved spending time with her family and was very active in her church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Thomas Weschler in 1997 and a sister Joanne Crumbo. She is survived by her two sons Richard T. Weschler Jr. and his wife Andrea of Fairview; Michael J. Weschler and his wife Laurie of McKean; her daughter Nancy A. Hansbury and her husband Tom of Wenonah, N.J.; her sister Alberta Stefanik of Akron, Ohio; her brother Robert Straka of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren: Jillian, Keely, Sara, Michael, Matthew, Logan and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street, (at Powell Ave.) on Sunday from 1 to 5. A Prayer Service will be conducted on Monday at 10:15 at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 7100 West Ridge Road, Fairview.
