To Terry's dear family
I knew Terry through my brother Doug Jones. Terry always stood out among the guys, as a gentle thoughtful soul. Anyone who knew him, will remember him and all his kindnesses. There is nothing more important.

DEAR BRYAN & COREY,
OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS HAVE BEEN W/TERRY AND YOU BOTH IN THESE LAST FEW DIFFICULT MONTHS. WE LOVED TERRY AND IT IS SO HARD TO SAY GOODBYE FROM TEXAS, AS WE ARE UNABLE TO MAKE THE TRIP BACK TO ERIE AT THIS TIME AND HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND. CONTINUED STRENGTH TO YOU IN THE MOST DIFFICULT TIME AHEAD. MAY YOUR MEMORIES REMAIN IN YOUR HEART WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER AND EVEN TEARS SOMETIMES AS THEY ARE ALSO A PART OF LIFE. BUT NO MATTER WHAT KEEP YOUR FAMILY BOND STRONG IN THE YEARS TO COME, THIS IS WHAT YOUR DAD WOULD WANT FOR YOU, TO LOVE EACH OTHER.

Dear Bryon and Corey ,
As you know you father was such a special man , He was the most loyal , caring and loving man I have ever known , He was my best friend and will miss him terribly , but I know God blessed me with the opportunity to have him in my life , Family meant so much to him and he was so proud of you both and the men you have become ,
.He was a wonderful grampa and Orion loved spending time with his "Pa Pa Terry". He taught him about sports as well as everyday life and Im sure Orion will carry alot of what he learned through his life . He taught us all how to get through the struggles in life and how to also slow down and find the beauty in every day. When I think of Terry this quote comes to mind, "What we are is God's gift to us ,and what we become is our gift to God" Barbie Lupole and family (Erie ,PA)

To the Family of Terry Delio ~
I'm very sorry and sadden to hear that Terry passed away. I did not know him except for the times when I called the streets dept with a problem. He always answered the phone and could not have been nicer to me. He took care of any of the problems that I had himself because he knew how busy the guys were. He was true to his word. I would see him of time to time on the television being interviewed. The city of Erie lost a hard working caring employee when he retired and I'm sure your family has lost a great man.
Sincerely,
Becky Vickey

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

My Dear Bryan,
Please accept my sincere condolences on your great loss. Even though I only met your Dad a few times he treated me with kindness and made me feel welcome and as if we had know each other for a long time. It didn't take me long to learn from whom you got all your charm! May he rest in the peace he so deserves; may you find peace as well. You, Corey, and family are in my prayers. God bless, with Love, Robyn xo

I am shocked and saddened to hear about Terry's passing. We started hanging around together back in 1967 both in Erie and in Cocoa Beach. We had many great times. He was a hero and never let his injury slow him down, truly an inspiration. He was also a helluva good time. After many years I'm glad I had a chance to see him again about a year ago. I will miss him.

To the Delio Family: You have our condolences and prayers. Terry was always fun to be around. He came into the Stadium Lounge that my brother owned and I was the bartender. My brother just had surgery, so he won't be able to make the services, but he wanted me to let you know his thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Dear Bryan and Corey,
I was deeply saddened to hear of your father's death. For the past year I have been working and living out of town only getting back home to Erie on most weekends.
Although I did not know your father, Terry, as well as I knew your uncle, Peter, having worked with Peter for over 30 years and being partners together; I truly felt as if I knew Terry well enough to know what kind of person he was. Often, Peter and I would share our thoughts and we would talk about our families. And when we did, Terry was always in Peter's thoughts and conversation. Peter shared many stories with me....the good and the bad......for it's all part of our life and our journey.
I know it meant so much to Peter to have his brother, Terry, by his side during his own illness and his death. And now the two of them are together in Heaven. Most likely playing a good round of golf or playing ball on their own "Field of Dreams".
Your uncle, Peter. and I shared so much together and I think of him just about everyday. I miss him deeply. The love I have for him is strong and it will never go away. It is so strong that it extends to your father Terry, as well as to you Bryan and Corey and your families.
We need to remain close to our families, and we always need to look out for and take care of one another. That is what families do. Both your father Terry and uncle Peter made this a part of their daily life and they never questioned their responsibility.......a lesson well learned that we all should follow.
Take care and God Bless.

To the Delio Families, my sincere condolences..
Even though its been a few years, Terry's name always comes up when our friends reminisce of the Greengarden Tavern Softball glory days !
Terry always had a flair for that something special !
I enjoyed playing & talking with him before & after the games. We also lived together for a year or so, but that's another story...
Terry was a good man and he will be in my prayers.
