Doris Fetterman Obituary
Doris graduated from Albion High School, attended The Erie Conservatory of Music, and was accepted to The Juilliard School. She worked as a cashier at Krogers for 17 years and later at a children's store until retirement. Doris was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed music, gardening, reading, traveling, and camping.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Harold Earl Kerns and Oliver Raymond Kerns.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Gordon Fetterman; a son, John Neal McFayden, Jr., wife, Joni, of Diamond Bar, Calif.; a daughter, Debra Sue Hendrick, husband, George, of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren, Michael John McFayden, Melissa Eidsvoog, Jennifer Heil, Nancy Hendrick, and Rob Hendrick; many great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Private arrangements were handled at the convenience of the family by Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd., with burial at Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital of Erie, 1645 West 8th St., Erie, PA 16505.

I'm so sorry to hear of Doris's passing. Doris worked for me at Small Frys and i always loved her sense of humor and when I had my son Brian and would bring him into the store to work Doris would love to take over and watch him! She was a good friend.

Sweet Doris...you , Melanie, and I had such fun working at the Colony Plaza so many years ago. What I will always remember about you is your positive attitude and a strong belief that, if we look hard enough, we will always find the good in the people we meet along the way on our journey. Rest in Peace Doris. Love, Marnie
