Andrew Lyngarkos, 78, of Millcreek died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Saint Vincent Health Center. Andrew was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late Evelyn Pappas Lyngarkos and Anthony Lyngarkos. Andrew served in the United States Army Airborne Division and received the parachutist badge. Andy was an avid bowler, also enjoyed fishing, card playing and most of all, activities with his family. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine A. Thom Lyngarkos, sisters, Georgia Jabaily and Athena P. Howell. Survivors include his beloved wife of 41 years, Janet Kimmy Lyngarkos, his children, Karen A. Bendure, Anthony A. Lyngarkos (Dawna), Helen Lyngarkos Way (David), Matthew A. Lyngarkos (Mariska) and Mark N. Lyngarkos (Stacy). Eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Private arrangements were handled by the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street.
