Ann Randall Obituary

Ann (Woke) Randall, age 95, of 339 E. Jamestown Rd., Greenville, formerly of 307 Shenango St., Jamestown, Pa. died at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 at St. Paul Homes, Greenville, Pa. She was born Nov. 25, 1915 in Passaic, New Jersey to John and Maria (Koval) Woke. She married John G. Randall May 6, 1939, he preceded her in death Feb. 15, 1979. She was a nanny and housekeeper for 15 years prior to her marriage to John. She attended the Jamestown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, flowers and gardening. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Randall-Dill and her husband, Joseph Dill, of Erie, Pa.; two sisters, Betty Snodgrass of Jamestown and Ann Andrako of West Lake, Ohio; three grandsons, John "Jay" Randall and Chad Randall both of Jamestown, and Joe Dill of Erie; three granddaughters Kim Randall of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Traci Vodzak of Erie and Alexandra Dill of Los Angeles, Ca.; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, John Randall, two brothers, Michael Vilke and Andrew Vilke and a sister, Mary Granville. Visitation will be at Randall Funeral Home, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown, Pa, on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home on Saturday, February, 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery, Jamestown, Pa.

Ann, I am so sorry. I know this must be so hard for you. I always remember your Mom being real calm and laughing. Like when the kids were little and all of them running around. It didn't bother her at all. She was so calm and relaxed. I think thats a nice quiality to have.
