Anthony J. Liocano, 19, of West Springfield, Pa., passed away Thursday evening, August 8, 2013, of injuries sustained in an accident. He was born August 5, 1994, in Ashtabula, Ohio, and was the son of Bernard O. Liocano and Gloria (Lucas) Liocano.

A 2012 graduate of Northwestern High School, Anthony had attended Erie County Technical School and was employed as a welder at A. Lewis Steel and at Capp Steel Erectors in Ashtabula, Ohio. He also worked at the Whitney farm in West Springfield. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, working on his farm tractor, being with his friends, and hanging out with his sister.

Survivors include his father of West Springfield, Pa.; his mother of Conneaut, Ohio; his sister, Anna Liocano of Conneaut, Ohio; paternal grandmother, Bonita Kisher; maternal grandmother, Linda Lucas; maternal grandfather, Greg Lucas of Englewood, Fla.; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Mitchell; aunt and uncles, Greg "Skip" (Brandy) Lucas, Michelle and Ray McVoy, Brian and Karen Liocano, Berdina Sisko; cousins, Lauren McVoy, Hayley Potter, and Tori and Kaitlyn Cudd; and more distant relatives.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Cassius "Sonny" Liocano, Jr.; his paternal great-grandfather, Bob Mitchell; and a cousin, Ryan White.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at the Marcy Funeral Home, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, OH, with Rev. Ed Huntley of Federated Church of East Springfield, Pa., officiating. Burial will be in East Springfield Cemetery.

Calling hours will be at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Anthony's family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
