Loving Mother and "Granma B" Bonnie Jean Oatman Boyd, age 68, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at her daughter's residence in Fairview. Born May 18, 1944 in Erie she was the daughter of the late Ralph Oatman Sr. and Esther Davis Oatman. Bonnie was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and worked in customer service at the Blair Call Center for 14 years. She enjoyed bowling, gardening and her flowers as well monthly card club with the girls. Her true passion in life was spending time with her grandchildren. She was known among family and friends as "Granma B". Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William Oatman and Edward Gross. Survivors include her two daughters, Jennifer Curtze of Fairview and Stacey Raidl, husband Greg, of Pikeville, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Tristen, Raegan, Austen Miranda, Mariah, Payton, and Jordan; her brothers, James D. Oatman, wife Donna, Robert Oatman, wife Bernadette, Donald Oatman, wife Mary, Ralph Oatman, Jr., and Richard Oatman; her other daughter, Jamie; and many nieces and nephews and other extended family. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7p.m. until a service of memories at 8 p.m. at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard.
