Charles Edward Brady, 74, of Greenfield Twp. reposed on Monday, February 25, 2013 at his residence. Charles was born November 8, 1938 in Indiana, Pa., a son of the late Edward I. Brady and Bernice Louise Smith Brady. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two sisters, Eleanor Hughes and Patricia Lackovic, and his stepmother, Mary Hall Brady Reed. He is survived by his wife Elaine Ewing Brady of Erie, two daughters, Lisa Ann Brady of Casselberry, Fla., and Kathleen Louise Pollard and her husband Stephen of Purcelville, Va., twin grandsons Rohan and Brady Pollard of Purcelville, Va., one sister, Vera L. Brady of Walnut Creek, Calif., three brothers, Jesse B. Brady and his wife Irene of Erie, Martin D. Brady and his wife Ann of Concord, Calif., Ronald E. Brady of Erie and one stepbrother, John Hall of California. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Charles was a 1956 graduate of Marion Center High School and served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Springfield as an electronics technician E-5. He also worked for RCA as an electronics technician, for Golf Oil Company in Venice, La., and held a 2nd class FCC license. He retired from International Paper in 2000. No calling hours will be observed. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by G. R. Bailey Funeral Home, 4396 Iroquois Ave., Erie, Pa.
