Corinne Curry Johnson, age 84, of Harborcreek, passed away, Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Ball Pavilion surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 1, 1928, in Cherryhill, Pa., the daughter of the late Margaret Jarvi Curry and Ralph Curry. She graduated from East High School in 1946 and Hamot Hospital School of Nursing in 1949. Retired as supervisor of Sarah Reed's Children Center Medical Dept. in 1990.Member of Messsiah Lutheran Church and Hamot Hospital Alumnae Assoc. and participated in Harvard Medical School and Brighams Women's Hospital Nurses Health Study for 40 years. Preceded in death by a beloved son, Kim David Johnson; sisters, Ruth Rastatter, Pat Andres and Marlene Chase; and three brothers, Royal, Roland and Ralph Curry. Survivors are beloved husband, Clark J. Johnson of 62 years (married 7/6/50); sons, J. Eric and wife Terri of N.Y., Clark M. and wife Abby of North East and Michael Kihn of Erie; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Johnson of Harborcreek; grandchildren, Cathryn, Bethany, Clark W., Kyle, Cody and Anders Johnson; one great-grandson; one sister, Colleen Schaefer of Erie; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Saturday at 10 a.m. conducted by Reverend Jeffrey Piccirilli, Pastor, Messiah Lutheran Church. Interment, Erie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sarah A.
