He was born in Fairview Township on December 3, 1924, son of the late Joseph and Rose Dracsula Grega.

After meeting Dolores M. Miller Grega at a motorcycle hill climb in Girard, Pa., they were married on June 29, 1948. He enjoyed traveling "out West", motorcycle riding and hunting. More recently, he could be found on Saturday nights watching polkas and country western dancing from his favorite recliner in the house he built.
