Daniel "Dan" P. Hrinda, age 80, of Lake City went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Girard on April 16, 1933, the son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Hrinda. He was a Girard High School graduate and served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a self employed carpenter for many years. He attended First Alliance Church. Dan enjoyed fishing, cooking, carpentry, and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Ann Donnell Hrinda, three daughters: Jill M. Hrinda-Patten (Kirk), of Millcreek, Renee E. Fiebelkorn (John), of Millcreek, Amy Majczyk (Tom), of Fairview, four grandchildren, Rudy Patten, Ariel and Logan Fiebelkorn, and Tyra Majczyk, three sisters, Betty Schultz (Homer), Irene Wisniewski, Helen Klier (John), one brother, Joe Hrinda (Mary Ann), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Mike, George, John Hrinda and two sisters; Mary Pangratz and Ann Knorr. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., on Monday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. for the funeral service conducted by Rev. David Snyder. Private interment at Erie County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
