Deborah Orlando Huber, age 58, of Millcreek Twp., passed away at her residence unexpectedly on Monday, April 22, 2013. She was born in Erie on December 22, 1954, daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille Orlando. Debbie was a graduate of Tech Memorial High School. She was previously employed at Colony Savings Bank and for many years was the cafeteria manager at Grover Cleveland Elementary School. Debbie was a volunteer for the Keystone Paralyzed Veterans of America. She was known for having a caring heart and loved taking care of her family and people in need. She enjoyed gardening, her backyard pool, and her pet dogs, Nikki, Nikko and Miah. Debbie is survived by her beloved husband, Edward G. Huber; her two daughters, Jennifer and her husband, Dr. Walter Schamber and Kimberly and her husband Murray Lohr; two brothers, Joseph J. Orlando and his wife Susan and Gary M. Orlando, Sr.; her granddaughter, Sophia Schamber, who referred to her grandmother as "Gigi"; and one grandchild soon to be born; dear friends Judy Vincent, Shirley McIntyre and Christine Schloss; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, 4216 Sterrettania Road, on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Prayer Service there on Friday at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament R.C.
