Della T. Papucci Kulesza, 85, of Columbus, Ohio and formerly of Erie, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Kobacker House in Columbus following a brief illness. A resident of Erie most of her life she was born in Erie on February 26, 1927 a daughter of the late Louis and Anna Serafini Papucci. Della was a graduate of Academy High School and went on to work with U.S. Printing and Litho for over eight years. She also worked at Marx Toys, the Red Barn Office, and most recently with Hagman Realtors. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking and baking. She also enjoyed reading, knitting, and playing cards. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph L. Kulesza and one brother, James "Jack" Papucci. Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Ann Hook and her husband Fred of Dublin, Ohio, Judith Marie Hamilton and her husband Roy of Hurricane, W. Va., and Mary Ann Harding and her husband Jerry of Thornton, Colo.; three grandchildren, Joseph Ryan Hamilton and his wife Ashley, Jessica Marie Hamilton, and Bryan Dale Spinelli and his wife Ashley; one step grandchild, Evan Harding and his wife Heather; two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Kaylee Hamilton; three step great-grandchildren, Zayne, Nolan, and Rhylee Harding; two sisters, Betty Smith and Marie Sosinski and her husband Carl, all of Erie; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road, on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke Catholic Church on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery.
