Donald C. "Chuck" Wilkinson III, age 42, of North East, died on Friday, November 9, 2012 at UMPC Hamot. He was born on January 28, 1970 in Erie, Pa. to Donald C. Wilkinson Jr. and Lori Bukowski Wilkinson of North East. Donald graduated North East High School in 1988 and served in the United States Army as a tank crew member. He was formerly employed at Wal-Mart, Eureka Electrical Products Inc., Dana Brake Parts, and American Tinning. Donald was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church and Brotherhood of St. Joseph in North East. He was an avid Oakland Raiders Fan and enjoyed watching and playing various types of sports. He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Tillie and Daniel Bukowski; a paternal grandfather, Donald Wilkinson Sr.; and father-in-law, Danny Sugden. In addition to his parents, Donald is survived by his wife of 9 years, Sherry Sugden Wilkinson whom he married August 9, 2003; sister, Charmain Russo (Mat) of North East; brother, Steve Wilkinson (Michelle) of North East; grandmother, Mary Wilkinson of North East; step-mother, Rhonda Wilkinson of North East; step-children Machele and Joshua Gilbert of New York; nieces and nephews, Daniel and Steven Wilkinson, Ashley and Matison Russo, Courtney and Nolan Sugden, Kris Sugden, Tabitha Haworth, Steven Homann, Janet Wilkowski, Dylan and Connor Sugden; mother-in-law, Mary Sugden of North East; sister and brother-laws, Michele Sugden, Kevin Sugden, Danny Sugden, and Brian Sugden; godparents, Judy Juchno of McKean and Michael Wilkinson Sr. of North East; step-brother and step-sisters, Fred Karash, Sarah Parton, and Heidi Burek; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and a dog, Sheba. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East, on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 and are invited to attend a prayer service on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church. Interment, St. Gregory Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
