Dorothy June Herrick Paull Thomson, age 91, of Millcreek, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013. Shewas born in Erie, on June 13, 1921, daughter of the late Julius and Helen Nece Herrick. Dorothy attended Wesleyville and North East Grade Schools and was a graduate of North East High School. She then attended Erie Commercial College. Dorothy was first employed in the Personnel Division of General Electric from 1940 to 1950. Following that she was employed at Erie Guidance Center and St. Vincent Mental Health for 8 years. Dorothy was Past President of the Venture Club, The Belle Valley PTA and the Women's Guild of the Belle Valley Presbyterian Church where she had also served as a Deacon. She was a member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church and had served the church as an Elder and Secretary of the Women's Association. Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin Paull, her second husband, Phillip Thomson and one sister, Eleanor Renaud. Sheis survived by two daughters, Audree Bliss Macrino (Bill) of McKean and JanetRine (Keith) of Millcreek; two grandchildren, Jason Bliss (Monica) and Amber Rine; one great granddaughter, Hailey Bliss; one sister, Beth Davis, of Fairport, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and her church family. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc. East, 2607 Buffalo Rd. on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service there on Wednesday at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Rick Cepris. Interment, North East Cemetery.
