Edward J. Pamula

Edward J. Pamula Edward J. Pamula, 85, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009 in Rhode Island surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Fernande T. (Robin) Pamula. Born in Erie, Pa., he was a son of the late John and Susana (Kosturko) Pamula. A 20 year Veteran of the US Navy, he served in WW II in the Pacific Theatre. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for General Dynamics Electric Boat, Rhode Island, for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, Branch 42 and the North Kingstown Senior Center. He was a communicant of St. Bernard Church. He leaves two sons, John Pamula and his wife, Stephanie, of Exeter; and Michael Pamula and his wife, Catherine, of Saunderstown; a daughter, Robin Burns, and her husband, Jeff, of Ohio; and three grandchildren, Jennifer, Nichole and Michael. His Funeral was held Saturday, October 10, 2009 from the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Rd., North Kingstown, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Rd., North Kingstown.
