Elizabeth Betty Chandley Obituary
Elizabeth "Betty" Chandley joined her husband, brother and sisters and in-laws on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. She resided at Forestview Nursing Facility. Daughter of the late Lillian and Joseph Vitron, she was one of six children.

Betty was married for 57 years to her husband, John "Jack" Chandley, who preceded her in death in 2004. They were wed in 1947.

Betty graduated from Strong Vincent in 1941. Besides being known as "Bingo Betty," she was an avid bowler and card player, and never met a crossword puzzle she couldn't beat. She was a member of St. James R.C. Church.

Betty was preceded in death by her sisters, Violet Shenk (Howard), Gladys Alexander (Bob), Harriet Wood (Earl), and Colleta Messmer (Ed); and her brother, Joseph Vitron (Ceil).

Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Chandley (Dick Farling); son, John "Jack" Chandley (Sandy); grandchildren, Jean Chandley and Jay Chandley (Janet); and great-grandchildren, Leah Bertolo, Jenna, Jodie, Julianna and Chandley.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at Forestview for their extra loving care.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and are invited to attend a Prayer Service there on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James R.C.
