Gail Euston Obituary

Gail M. Euston, age 85, of Millcreek, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Sarah Reed Retirement Center. She was born on September 1, 1925 in Saugus, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Sterling and Katherine (Duggan) Mensch. Gail was a member of St. George Church, an avid golfer and bowler. She was a auxiliary member of the Maennerchor and Zukor Clubs. She was preceded in death by one sister, Jane Schulte; one brother, Sterling R. Mensch, II; and a niece, Christine Houck. Gail is survived by her loving husband, Wilbur T. Euston; a daughter, Holly Patterson, husband Steve of Erie; three sons: Tom Euston, wife Connie of Pittsburgh, David Euston, wife Debbie of Erie, Lee Euston of Virginia Beach, Va.; and six grandchildren: Greg and Heather Euston, Jeff Euston, wife Megan, Katie Euston and Matt and Alyssa Patterson. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Josh, Luke and Connor Euston. Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Blvd. Services will be held there on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Church at 10 a.m. Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northwestern Pennsylvania, 1128 State Street, Erie, PA 16501.
