Obituary Condolences Flowers

Howard A. Brown, age 82, of Waterford, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Fairview Manor following an extended illness. He was born in Erie on November 28, 1936, son of the late Arthur and Freda Foster Brown.

Howard was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was employed with Uniflow for many years before beginning with Calsicat, where he retired in 1998. Howard enjoyed fishing and time spent with family, especially his grandchildren. He was faithful in mowing the grass at the trailer park where he was the manager for many years.

Howard was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Munsee Brown; two sisters, Dorothy Reich (Ronald), and Margaret Morgan; three brothers, George, Arthur Jr., and Virgil Brown; and one brother-in-law, Thomas N. Johnson.

Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Mary Ann McMillen Brown; five daughters, Susan Davis (Craig), Peggy Brown, Beth Hoover (Matt), Anna Brown (David), and Amy Brown; one son, Jim Brown; one sister, Audrey Johnson Forsten (Gary); five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 8 p.m., conducted by Rev. Paul Friend, of New Beginnings Church. Private interment will take place at Lowville Cemetery with Military Honors rendered.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the family through the funeral home.
