Isabel Wambach Obituary
She was a valiant woman of faith who opened her heart to all.
Beloved wife of the late Michael, Sr., loving mother of Isabel Canning (the late David), Sister Anne Wambach, OSB, Gina, Mary Terese Ott (Abe), Joanne (Bill Padden) and the late Michael, Jr. (Jackie), devoted grandmother of Michele and Matthew Canning, Sean DeMuzio, Jennilyn and Jessica Wambach, and Joshua, Tayler and Aaron Ott, she is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and was the devoted sister to Joan Houlihan and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Rd., Philadelphia, from 10 to 11 a.m. with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be at St. Mark's Cemetery. The family prefers donations in Isabel's memory be made to the Benedictine Sisters of Erie, 6101 E. Lake Rd., Erie, PA 16511, www.eriebenedictines.org.

Dear Anne,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss of your mother. All of my memories of your mother are happy ones of delightful visits to your home and stopping in when your parents were at the shore. Your mother was so welcoming and hospitable.
You may recall that you were the cantor at my mother's funeral many years ago. I can still hear your beautiful voice that brought our family so much consolation at a sad time.
My prayers are with you and your family. May God fill your heart with peace.
