James A. Grinolds, age 68, of Erie, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Bradford, Pa. on August 7, 1944, son of the late Bernard and Doris Grinolds. Jim was a 1962 graduate of Bradford High School and then attended and graduated from the Bryant & Stratton Business Institute. After graduation, Jim worked in several professional service areas, retiring from Waste Management in January of 2009. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley and walking the Peninsula. He had a great sense of humor and sensitive nature. He was a former member of First Baptist Church of Bradford. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Meloney Stewart Grinolds in 1994. He is survived by two daughters, Kimberley Pieske (Eric) and Kelly Grinolds all of San Antonio, Texas; his sister, Janet Nuzzo (Joe) of Jamestown, N.Y.; his nephew, Tim Nuzzo of Jamestown, N.Y.; his niece, Jodi Sellman (Dan) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one great-niece, Haley; two great-nephews, Brady and Troy; and several cousins.
