Jane C. (West) Pol, age 48, of Erie, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born September 3, 1964, in Erie, a daughter of Dotty West and the late Ronald West. Jane loved her family and grandchildren and was a good homemaker, wife and friend. She enjoyed Sunday picnics at the cottage. She was an avid Washington Redskins fan and loved Harley Davidsons. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Ann Pol in 2008. Survivors include her husband of 26 years, John E. Pol, of Erie, whom she married June 1, 1986; her mother, Dotty West, of Erie; four daughters, Cassandra Roward, husband, Daniel, Katy Fetzner, husband, Daniel, Mandy and Kimberly Pol, all of Erie; nine grandchildren, Andy, Savannah, Hailey, Danica, Abby, Elizabeth, Danny, Lawson and Kaycee, all of Erie; six sisters, Mary Pat Vlahos, of Bethel Park, Pa., Kathy Smith, husband, Brad, Sue Oler-Minarich, husband, Dan, Diane Falk, husband, Tom, all of Erie and Amy Westpoley, husband, Sean, of Oxford, Ohio. Friends may call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue branch, 845 East 38th Street, Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and may attend services there on Friday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Rosary Church at 10 a.m. Burial in Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery.
