Janet Sue Kirik

Janet Sue (Morris) Kirik, 63, of Union City, Pa., passed away on Monday, November 20, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her family. Janet was born February 24, 1949 in Gassaway, West Virginia, a daughter to Madeline (Keener) Morris and the late Esker J. Morris Sr. Janet served on the Union City School Board for many years and was also an Avon Representative, and a private health care provider. She loved her family, caring for animals, going antiquing and collecting quilts She was preceded in death by her father Esker J. Morris Sr. and a daughter Karen Sue Kirik. Survivors include her husband Kervin K. Kirik, of Union City, Pa., whom she married on October 25, 1969, a daughter Kari Ann Kirik of Erie, Pa., her mother Madeline Morris of Sutton, West Virginia, sisters, Judy Ann Beane and her husband Sterling, of Gassaway, West Virginia, and Joy West of Baden, Pa., and a brother Esker J. Morris Jr. of Sutton, West Virginia, Friends will be received at the Robert M. Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 62 South Main Street, Union City, Pa., on Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. Further visitation will be held at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, 600 Riverview Drive, Sutton, West Virginia, on Monday, November 26, 2012 from 6-8 p.m., with funeral services held there on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Robert Godfrey officiating. Interment will be in the Keener Family Cemetery, Sutton, West Virginia. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
