Jason J. Henry, 39, of New Haven, Indiana, formerly of Greene Township passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 15, 2013.
He was born on September 14, 1974 in Erie, Pa., son of John and Susan (Holzer) Henry. He graduated from Seneca High School in 1993. He had dreamed of working on the railroad like his grandfather. He was hired at Norfolk Southern in 1997 and later joined Pioneer Railway, Napoleon Defiance and Western Division.
Jason loved being an engineer, spending time with his son Jacob and his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Lillian Holzer, Edwin and Alice Henry and a cousin, Dennis Straw.
He is survived by his son Jacob; his parents; a sister Sarah Henry Walker and her husband, David; nephew Justin and niece Allison Walker; close friend, Tami Brenneke; uncles, Ed Holzer and Lee Henry; aunts Pat Straw and Karen Ewiak.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Boniface Church, 9367 Wattsburg Rd. on Wednesday, October 2nd at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations for his son, Jacob can be made to the Jason J. Henry Memorial Fund at PNC Bank.
