John Paul Pobudinski, Jr., age 65, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Portland, Maine on November 1, 1947, son of the late John Paul Pobudinski, Sr. and Lillian Derrig Pobudinski. He graduated from Frankfort American High School in Germany. He was employed at GE, Steris Inc. and Geisinger Medical Hospital. He relocated to Erie in 2005, from Taunton, Mass. He was a veteran of the Navy and served on the U.S.S. Kennedy for four years. John enjoyed family, friends, fishing and hunting. He loved his 1949 Ford pickup truck, which he would feature at car shows. Johnny was a good guy and a good friend to the end. He will be dearly missed by his family, the Linn-Lee community and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Pobudinski and Maureen Rose. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Patricia C. Pobudinski of Taunton, Mass.; a brother, Edward (Linda) Pobudinski of Greenwood Village, Colorado and two sisters, Colleen (Pat) Gourley of Erie and Stephanie (Steven) Pappas of Bloomsburg, Pa.; four nieces, cousins and friends. Services and interment were private. Arrangements were handled by House of Law Inc., Penn Hills, Pa.
