Lynch playing them in the early days and following all sports in his later life. He enjoyed traveling as much as he could. Upon retirement Fr. Lynch continued to help out priest and in parishes both in Mercer Deanery and throughout the Diocese as his heath would dictate. People especially enjoyed his unique style of preaching which affirmed and encouraged people in their faith. He is survived by four brothers, Stephen and his wife Lorraine, Charleston, S.C.
