Josephine T. Lubelski Campanelli, age 92, passed away Sunday morning, September 15, 2013, at UPMC Hamot. She resided in Erie. She was born in Erie March 29, 1921, a daughter of the late Walter and Stella Zielinski Lubelski.

She is survived by her sons, Vincent N. Campanelli and his wife Margaret of Erie, and Nicholas V. Campanelli and his wife Carmel of Erie, her grandchildren: Nicholas Campanelli and his wife Jennifer, Carla Fraser and her husband Christopher, Katherine Ashman and her husband Craig, Rachel Hunt and her husband Christopher, her Great-grandchildren: Victoria and Casey Campanelli, Alyssa and Christopher Fraser, Eleanor and Molly Ashman and Margaret Hunt. She is also survived by her three sisters, Frances Mozdy of Harborcreek, Virginia Pelkowski of Erie and Marie Kuzmin of Erie, a sister-in-law Rita Lubelski, her brother-in-law Stanley Kmiecik and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent N. Campanelli, her brothers Leonard and Albert Lubelski, and her sisters Dolores Smieciuh and JoAnne Kmiecik. Josephine was a founding member of Mt. Calvary R. C. Church, where she also served as an Alter Aide, and was a member of the Mt. Calvary Senior Citizens. She retired from the Erie General Electric. Josephine was a member of the G. E. Quarter Century Club, a member of the Retired Employees Assoc., and was a member of the U. E. Local 506-618 United Electrical Workers. She was an excellent baker and loved gardening.

Friends may call at the G. R. Bailey Funeral Home, 4396 Iroquois Avenue, Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m., where a prayer service will be conducted Wednesday morning at 9:30, followed by a Funeral Mass at Mt. Calvary R. C. Church at 10 a.m.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to VNA Hospice 2253 W. Grandview Blvd. Erie, PA 16506.
