Julie Cozine Hunsaker, age 54, of Erie, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at UPMC Hamot. She was born in Spokane, Wash. on September 18, 1958, daughter of Mary Helen Cozine of Spokane and the late Gerald Cozine. Julie received an Associate degree from Rick's College in Rexburg, Idaho. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she taught Sunday School, and directed the choir. Julie enjoyed singing, and was a member of the Presque Isle Chorale. She especially loved being a mother to her seven children. Besides her mother, Julie is survived by her husband, Nathan L. Hunsaker; seven children, Aaron (wife, Kasia), Marshall, Brett, Elyssa, Griffin, Reeve and Linnea; one grandson, Liam; one brother, Jeff Cozine; one sister, Kerry Grimes (John); two nephews and one niece. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. Further visitation will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1101 South Hill Rd., on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held there at 11 a.m. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery.
