1943 - 2019 Obituary Condolences
Kathleen M. (Henry) Bilski, age 75, of Millcreek, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Saint Vincent Hospital. She was born on May 18, 1943, in Erie, Pa., daughter of the late John W. and Mildred (Welsh) Henry.

Kathleen graduated from Holy Rosary Grade School and Academy High School, Class of 1961. She worked as a secretary at Erie General Electric for many years. A devoted mother, Kathleen enjoyed being involved in and supporting the activities of her two children over the years. She was active in various P.T.A. positions within the Millcreek School District, receiving a lifetime membership award in the National P.T.A. She also played tennis for many years, participating in leagues at Pennbriar Athletic Club. She loved gardening and spending time outdoors on her property, where she and her husband, Richard, built their home.

In past years, she volunteered at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in their various outreach efforts, and then more recently concentrated on caring for family members who were ill.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Maureen Aitken; a brother, William P. Henry; a niece, Laura (Klopfer) Wright; and a nephew, Thomas N. Aitken. She was also preceded in death by her in-laws, Edward C. and Regina (Jean) Bilski; as well as a brother-in-law, Ronald E. Bilski.

She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Bilski; daughter, Krystyna S. Bilski and her fiancé, Charles Pearce, of Erie; son, Peter R. Bilski of Erie; sister, Judith Klopfer of Erie; brothers, John (Michael) Henry and his wife, Katrina, and Daniel J. Henry and his wife, Rebecca, all of Erie; sister-in-law, Kathleen Henry of Erie; brother-in-law, Thomas N. Aitken of Palm Coast, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her granddogs, Duncan and Ranger; and grandcats, Pawl and Lady Derringer.

In honoring Kathleen's wishes, calling hours, visitation, and burial will be private, at the convenience of the family.
