Linda R. Sunflower Chatman-Mook Obituary
Linda R. "Sunflower" Chatman-Mook, age 58, of Erie, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Quitman, Miss., on December 3, 1959, daughter of the late Mack Hogan and Rosie Lee West-Chatman-Mitchell.

Linda enjoyed cooking and gardening and was known for having a green thumb. Her favorite flowers were roses. Linda enjoyed Tyler Perry movies, Mike & Ike candy, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, Marshall and Charles Chatman; and one grandson, Jaquan Mook. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Mark Mook, Sr.; her children, Crystal Carithers of Atlanta, Ga., Linneirria Parker, Mark Mook, Jr. (Sabrenia), and Jeremiah Mook (Yvonne) all of Erie; her brothers, Leroy Chatman (Ruby), John Chatman (Teresa), Weston Chatman (Janet), Eddie R. Chatman (Natalie) of Killeen, Texas, and Benny Mitchell (Lynette); her sister, Eliose Carter (Alir); eight special grandchildren, DeAris, DeShayla, DaAujraniq, Marius, Ahjahlonn, Jersey, Jaylen, and Lulani; four great-grandchildren, Jamaurie, Jayvon, Aiyana, and Amiah; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved.

Friends may call at the First Born Apostolic Faith Church of God, 1221 E. 19th Street, on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Saturday at noon, conducted by Bishop Climatee Roberts. A private interment will be held. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc.
