Louise F. Waller, age 96, a resident of Independence Court and formerly of West 2nd St. passed away Friday May 4, 2012. She was born March 25, 1916 in Erie the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lena Kanyar Waller. A lifelong resident of Erie, Louise worked for 35 years at American Sterlilizer (AMSCO) before retiring. She was a member of their Quarter Century Club and also belonged to St. Andrew Catholic Church and their Women's Guild. Louise enjoyed bowling and playing cards with her family and friends. She was always there to lend a hand when a relative or friend needed some type of assistance. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Theresa Waller Kovac and two brothers, Larry and Henry Waller. Louise is survived by two sisters; Leona Disbrow of Erie and Betty Lowe of Lincoln, Neb. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St. Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. and are invited to attend Funeral Services there Friday at 9 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary mausoleum.
