Melissa Lynn Turner Clayson, age 46, of Cambridge Springs, Pa., died Wednesday, December 19th, 2012, at Meadville Medical Center. She was born in Erie, April 6th, 1966, a daughter of James O. and Virginia L. Chatt Turner. Melissa had a beautiful smile and personality. She enjoyed talking with people and was a loving person to those she met. She loved flowers and gardening. She had been employed in sales at Marshalls. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Noah and Jesse Turner and Lenville Chatt, Sr. Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Andrew John Clayson; a son, Michael Paul Wallace of West Chester, Ohio; three brothers, James S. Turner and his wife Theresa of Lebanon, Ohio, Brian Turner and his wife Stephanie and Paul W. Turner all of Erie, Pa.; her grandmother, Charnettie Chatt; a sister-in-law, Kim Hazen of Meadville, Pa; nieces, nephews and a great-nephew also survive. Friends may call at the Church of Jesus Christ in God, 1706 Poplar St. Erie, Pa., on Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be at the Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
