Mildred Ashley Demyanovich Obituary
Mildred "Ashley" Demyanovich, age (she never wanted to tell her age), passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, in San Diego, Calif., on Friday, August 31, 2018.

She had a Bachelor's Degree from Villa Maria College and a Master's Degree from Edinboro University. She loved teaching children and retired from the Erie School District in 2005.

Ashley was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Demyanovich, Sr.; son, Bruce Demyanovich; and daughter, Caryn Demyanovich.

She was loved by all her children, and is survived by Alan Demy, Nancy Demyanovich Weber (Jeff), and Michael Demyanovich Jr. (Nadine); and her daughter-in-law, Cathy Demyanovich. Ashley cherished her grandchildren, Aryan Maya, Taylor Weber Milliken (Kent), Brett Demy, and Jose Demyanovich.

Ashley was passionate about animals and supported the Humane Society. She was spunky and wasn't afraid to tell you her opinion. She loved family, was a wonderful cook and baker (nut roll, poppy seed roll, Texas sheet cake) and she made the best gravy. Ashley celebrated every holiday and birthday with gusto, and loved tradition and every friend who came in our front door. She sat with the boys and enjoyed watching sports from football to volleyball to golf.

Ashley knew the Lord and introduced her children to faith along with many, many children at Eastminster Day Camp back in the day. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant.

We will miss her terribly, but will see her again one day. Rest in peace, Mom.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 536 West 10th Street, on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Chris Weichman. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
