Bob, Paul, Nick and Susan: I hope that the wonderful memories of your mom serve to overwhelm your sorrow. Her effervescent personality affected all who knew her. And despite her small stature, she was a terror when she threatened you with her spoon. May you only smile each time you remember her.

I was very sorry to read of your mom's passing. Our families celebrated many fun July 4th picnics together at your house. The nurses club was a great group of ladies.

Susan,
I am so sorry for the passing of your mother. The two of you were so lucky to have the time together that you had these past few years and I know that you know that. I was so happy that we had the time to visit with your Mimi in St. Mary's. Even when not feeling well she still had her spark. I know that you will miss her.
Sincerely, Theresa Savoia Divell

Dear Yochim family,

I didn't know your mom well, but she and our mom, Sally Harwood, were good friends who were in nurses' training together at St. V's, and they remained very good friends throughout the years. Our mom just recently has not been well, and is now in a nursing facility. So, on behalf of all of us and especially on behalf of our mom, please accept our sincere sympathy. We know, just from hearing the stories our mom used to tell, that your mom was a special lady, one of the "greatest generation."

Dear Yochim Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as well. I will never forget your mom calling our home many times to get Bob home for dinner. He would never talk to her of course but would yell to whomever answered the phone to tell her"five more minutes". God bless you all. Mark Kirkland, Norwalk Iowa

My parents spoke of Mimi quite frequently. She lived a good, long and happy life and though it is with sadness that we think of her passing, we can take comfort in knowing that she will soon be reunited with those she loved.
