"Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend" Myrna A. Donachy Janosky, age 72, of Erie, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at St. Vincent Health Center. Born October 15, 1940 in St. Mary's Pa. she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Glott Donachy. Myrna worked at various grocery stores retiring from Quality Markets on East Grandview in 2005. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and the CYS Club where she was the secretary of the Friendly 40 bowling league. She also belonged to the Holy Trinity Club. Myrna also loved NASCAR, Dale Ernhardt Jr., and the Denver Broncos. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Antoinette Donachy; three brothers, Joseph "Jokey" Donachy, Earl Donachy, and Jerry Donachy; a sister, Marie Schutz; and a brother-in-law, Jim Schutz. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, David M. Janosky; four daughters, and their children, Sharon Edge, husband Dirk, and their children Christy and Michael, Sandy Snider, husband Chuck, and their children Chuckie and Adam, Sheila Leo and her children, Megan and Austin, and Joann Young, husband Joe, and their children Patrick, Elizabeth and Lucas; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dolly Gabor, of Hickory, N.C., Rita Wolfgang, of Ludlow, Pa,; and Margaret Burek of Warren; a sister-in-law, Marian Hartman, husband Bill, of Erie; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brugger Funeral Homes and Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch 845 East 38th Street and may attend services there on Monday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Interment at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
