Norman Lee Veith, age 79, of Erie, and formerly of Celebration Fla., passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Fairview Manor. He was born in Fairview, Pa. on June 27th, 1933, the son of the late Raymond and Versal Karr Veith. Norman was a math teacher for the Millcreek School District for 34 years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife all over the United States and across oceans. While in Celebration, Fla., he was a cast member at Walt Disney World. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles and gardening. Norm was an Elder in three Presbyterian churches throughout his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother James Veith. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Barbara Kent Veith; daughter Susan (Paul) Kilmer, of Fairview; son Scott (Betsy) Veith, of Seabring, Fla.; two grandsons: Bill and Dan Kilmer; and his siblings: Dennis and Wilbur Veith. Services and inurnment will be held at a later date at Community Presbyterian Church Celebration, Fla.
