Regina Ann Spusta, age 75, of Millcreek passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at UPMC Hamot following a brief illness. Regina was born on May 30, 1936 in McKeesport, Pa., daughter of the late Thomas James and Golde Lloyda Quinn. She graduated from Lansdowne High School. She worked as a secretary for Hayes Manufacturing, Our Lady of Peace School, Granada Apartments and Hamot Hospital. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. Regina enjoyed dining out with her friends, the Erie Playhouse, the Erie Civic Music concerts, and especially spending time with her family and the two family dogs, Schanzie and Heidi. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John V. Spusta Jr. and a brother, Ronald Quinn. Regina was the loving mother of two daughters, Holly and Kelly Spusta both of Erie and a son James Spusta of Naples, Fla. She is also survived by two sisters, Beverly Esser (David) of Erie and Kimberly Schanze (Michael) of Boise, Idaho and a brother Jeffrey Quinn (Colleen) of Vienna, Va. along with many loved nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and many friends. Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Ave.) on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr.
