Richard M. Weber, age 74, of Monticello, Kentucky, formerly of North East died on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at home. He was born on November 3, 1938 in Mercer, Pa. to the late John F. Weber & Margaret C. Stewart Weber Goldie. Richard graduated Farrell High School and was formerly employed at General Electric as a tool & dye maker and machinist foreman. He enjoyed reading, horses, camping, outdoors, motorcycles, and dirt bikes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tracy, his brothers, John Jr., William S., Thomas J. Sr., and Robert M. Weber; sisters, Sally Weber, Mary Blosz, and Marjorie Duich; He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Freda Hamman Weber whom he married September 1, 1995; sons, Richard A. Weber of Colorado and Mark S. Weber (Stacey) of Erie; a daughter, Leslie Joann Weber of Colorado; a sister Rose DuPont (Danny) of Calif.; sister-in-law Anna J. Weber of West Middlesex; step-children, Sherry Sexton of Monticello, Teresa Folmar (Jim) of North East, Sue Plymire (Vern) of North East, James Sexton (Dawn) of Erie, Shawna Sexton (Kenny) of Monticello, & Michael Sexton of Erie; also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street North East on Wednesday 3:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment North East Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Animal Haven Rescue & Care Center, 208 Frisby Street, Monticello, KY 42633.
