Robert C. Clark, age 86, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the VA Medical Center. He was born in Erie on June 28, 1927, a son of the late Charles and Mildred Strahl Clark.

Robert Proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He was the owner and operator of Clark Refrigeration and worked locally for various businesses. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who, in later years, enjoyed the quiet beauty of his camp, and was known as "Bear Man," to everyone.

Beloved father of son, Bob Clark and his wife Sally of Fairview; two daughters, Kay Kubacki and her husband Mark of Harborcreek and Lynn Clark and her husband Joe Garbarino of Buffalo, N.Y.; one sister Mary Jane Petrus and her husband Emil; three grandchildren, Melissa (Ray), Michael (Melissa) and Allen, three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan and Lauren. Robert is further survived by his special and loving friend Irene Clark and his friend and business associate Richard Winston.

A private family memorial service was held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were under the care of the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, PA 16504.

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends in August, at the family's camp.
