Robert E. Seib Obituary
On Tuesday, May 22, 2018, Robert E. Seib went to his heavenly home. He was born in Erie, on January 16, 1937, the youngest of Arthur and Frances Seib's eight children.

Bob served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War. One of the most memorable experiences he had was visiting the concentration camps in Germany. Returning home to Erie, he married Nancy Jude and they raised a family of five, Robert, Velma, Mark, Joe and Tammy. Bob went to work at EMI Corporation in the foundry and was employed there until 1998. Nancy passed away in 1969.

In 1971, Bob married Blanche Schermerhorn Kramer and became father to her son, James. Their family grew when Andrew and Daniel were born. Blanche died suddenly in 1990. In 1992, Bob married Merrillyn Wilson, and her daughter, Leta joined the family.

In 1999, they moved to Dundee, Fla., where he was active at Dundee Methodist Church and Heart of Florida Emmaus. In 2016, as his health began declining, they moved to Chattanooga, Tenn. and became active at the Anglican Church of the Redeemer.

Bob loved to work jigsaw puzzles and fix things around the house. His children were very important to him and he often called them several times each week.

Survivors are his wife, Merrillyn; children, Tammy Sanden of Union City, Andrew Seib of Erie, and Leta Mussett of Chattanooga; his sister, Dorothy Burreull of Phoenix, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A Memorial will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church, 14425 Church St., Wattsburg, on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Wattsburg. Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc.
