Rose "Roe" M. Yannitello, age 94, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Shore Haven Personal Care Facility. Roe was born in Erie on November 22, 1918, a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Sabella) Yannitello. Roe was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Alex, John, Carmen, and Angelo; sister Mary Jane Yannitello DeLuca; brother-in-law Joseph Peter DeLuca; nephews, Michael (Tubby) Yannitello, James Joseph Schneider and godson, Robert Joseph DeLuca; and niece Josephine Yannitello Nawrocki. She is survived by a sister Concetta Yannitello DiNicola of Erie; and will be eternally missed by nieces, Rosemary Wadsworth and husband Herb of Ohio, Patricia DeLuca, Elsa Carr, of Erie, Jacquelyne DeLuca Askins and husband Bill of Seminole, Fla.; nephews Joseph Domenick DeLuca, Robert DiNicola and wife Pam of Indiana, Dik Yannitello and wife Cheryl of Erie; great-nieces Cheryl McLauglin, of Erie, Colleen Kunkel Walker and husband Michael of Seminole, Fla.; great-nephews Craig Alan Kunkel and wife Tish of Pittsburgh, Pa., Joseph Christopher Deluca and wife Erica of Erie, and several great-great nieces and nephews. Roe worked as a time keeper at Continental Rubber, until her retirement. The pain of losing "Aunt Roe" is overwhelming. She will be missed so much. She was the one to be there for all of us all her life; nursing illnesses, cooking, baking, and babysitting. She was like a second mother to everyone. There is only one way to describe her, "She was our Angel." Her love for her family was unconditional and she was loved so very much by everyone she met. Arrangements are being handled by the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th. A memorial mass will be held at a later date. Add condolences and photos at
