Rosemarie Scozzie, age 67, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at her residence in Millcreek, surrounded by family. She was born in Aliquippa, Pa. on February 9, 1945, a daughter of the late Louis and Julia Covata Wilson. Rosemarie graduated from Edinboro University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education, and later earned her Master's Degree in Education, also from Edinboro University. Rosemarie worked as a teacher in the Erie School District for many years, until her retirement in 2002. Rosemarie enjoyed playing golf, her book club and going shopping. Survivors include her husband Frank C. Scozzie, whom she married on August 25, 1973; three daughters, Kimberly Sambuchi, husband Dr. Gregory Sambuchi, of East Amherst, N.Y., Kara Agresti, of Erie, and Shana Bennett, husband Timothy Bennett, of Erie; eight grandchildren, Briana, Olivia and Rose Sambuchi, Joseph, Caroline and William Agresti, and Paige and Daniel Bennett. She is further survived by a sister, Annamae Paladina, husband Donald Paladina, of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother, Michael Louis Wilson, wife Deborah Wilson, of Grand Junction, Colo.; several nieces and nephews, and many, many friends. Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard. Services will be held there on Monday at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint George Church at 10 o'clock. Entombment will follow in Calvary Mausoleum.
